Introduction
Dave Brummet a well-known drum educator, performer & drum doctor, is based in Creston, BC. (Canada).
The office is run by Dave's wife, Lillian however Dave is your main contact for drum services.
Most participants bring their own drums - which is recommended, and preferred. Dave can supply a drum on request for those who do not own one. Let us know if you need a drum when registering.
Please refrain from wearing personal fragrances out of respect for people with allergies or sensitivities
Hand Drum Workshops
If you have a group of 3 or more participants, are able to host the event in your home, and would like to schedule a workshop - just let us know.
If you have a larger group, we are able to rent a nice space in a beautiful setting in downtown Creston, BC - this acoustically designed music room features large, soft, padded seats. However, we would be subject to that room's availability at the time. Also the cost increases to cover the rental fee.
These 2-hour learning workshops are based on a blend of African, Middle Eastern, and Latin rhythms. Several exciting rhythms will be studied, incorporating layering, looping, call & response & other techniques.
Professional educator, Dave Brummet, brings his 40+ years experience to hand drumming emphasizing the importance of proper posture, dynamics, and tempo, as well as playing in sync with others.
Workshops encourage communication, collaboration and concentration, taking participants away from it all to experience nothing but the joy of rhythm for 2 hours.
Fee: $40 per person (cash or e-transfer - no cheques).

Private Drum Drum or Hand Drum Lessons
Dave also offers mobile (in your home) one-on-one Drum Set or Hand Drum lessons.
These are one-on-one private lessons where Dave will come to your home for one hour (or more if preferred). Also providing personalized attention to tuning & maintenance tips on your own, personal instrument. He also has Drum Set lessons available.
Fee: $60 per hour (cash or e-transfer - no cheques).
