Dave Brummet a well-known drum educator, performer and drum doctor, is now offering monthly Drum Circles and Drum Workshops from 7-9 PM in Creston BC.
Our office (run by Dave's wife, Lillian) will send notifications a week before each event via email - let us know if you want us to email you a notice re: Dave's events.

Most participants bring their own drums - which is recommended, and preferred. Dave can supply a drum on request for those who do not own one. Let us know if you need a drum when registering.
What is the difference between a
Drum Circle and a Drum Workshop?
Drum Circles are held monthly. 
Registration is required as seating is limited to 30 participants.
These 2-hour events are jam sessions, for all skill levels, where participants “play” at making music with a variety of drums and percussion instruments.Held in a beautiful setting in downtown Creston, BC - this acoustically designed music room features large, soft, padded seats.
Dave facilitates these events to ensure everyone is comfortable, playing at an enjoyable volume and having a great time.
Fee: $20 per person (e-transfer preferred for pre-registration)

Drum Circles are usually held on the Last Tuesday of every month. Whenever we cannot book the space for a Tuesday, we've chosen a Wednesday instead.

These 2-hour learning workshops are based on a blend of African, Middle Eastern, and Latin rhythms. Eight exciting rhythms will be studied, incorporating layering, looping and call and response games.
Professional educator, Dave Brummet, brings his 40+ years experience to hand drumming emphasizing the importance of proper posture, dynamics, and tempo, as well as playing in sync with others.
Workshops encourage communication, collaboration and concentration, taking participants away from it all to experience nothing but the joy of rhythm for 2 hours.
Fee: $40 per person (e-transfer preferred for pre-registration)

Private Lessons
Dave also offers private one-on-one Drum Set or Hand Drum lessons as well as Private Group Workshops for small groups and families.
Private Drum set / Percussion Lessons These are one-on-one private lessons where Dave will come to your home for one hour (or more if preferred). Also providing personalized attention to tuning and maintenance tips on your own, personal instrument. He also has Drum Set lessons available.
Fee: $60 per hour (cash or e-transfer - no cheques)
Minimum 4 or more participants.

Drum Repairs
Have a hand drum that needs servicing? Dave is an experienced drum doctor. From a simple tuning to major repairs he can make any drum sound amazing !
