Musical Event raises funs for Harvest Food Truck

Musical Event raises funds  One of our students is playing Djembe on 4 numbers during this fundraising event!  SPIRITSONG women’s choir and BOUNDLESS vocal ensemble will join forces to present a choral theater work, “INSIDE OUT: reflections on life in an earth-suit “.  Performances are : Friday. Oct. 24 at 7 pm in Sandpoint, ID (USA) at Little Carnegie  (which is part of the S andpoint Music Conservatory ).   Sat. Oct. 25 at 7 pm in Bonners Ferry at Trinity Lutheran Church Sun. Oct. 26 at 3 pm at the Kootenay River Secondary School Auditorium in Creston, BC.  The musicians come from all three of those communities, and from Carson City, NV and Spokane, WA. Tickets are by donation at the door. These concerts are fundraisers for the Second Harvest Food Truck which delivers fresh, frozen, and canned food to hundreds of families each month, spring to fall, in Bonners Ferry and Sandpoint. Hand Drum Circles

    Drum It With Brummet's Hand Drum Circles  October 29th (Wednesday)  7 PM - 9  PM (Pacific) This  2-hour e vent is held monthly, and is for all skill levels and are a lot of fun for ages 15 -80. Bring your own drum, or percussive instrument, but  if you do not have a drum - let us know as we do have a limited supply that we are able to let participants use for events like this.   Location : downtown Creston (BC, Canada) Drum Circle  participants simply "play” at making music with a variety of drums and percussion instruments. This activity requires careful listening to the music at that moment, as it is being played by members in the room. Rather than being instructed, participants learn to "jam" with other drummers.  Dave Brummet  facilitates these events to ensure everyone is comfortable, playing at an enjoyable volume and having a great time.
