Q: I'm curious, Dave - What is something you’re looking forward to in music marketing?


A: I look forward to increasing the Drum It With Brummet blog and YouTube content - sharing drum expertise with the world. I plan on releasing series of videos sharing drum and percussion tips and techniques that others will find incredibly useful. 

The endless opportunities available to us for marketing these days is only limited by the time and effort you put into it. 

I feel that the best thing is not to allow one's self to get into a rut of feeling of overwhelmed with to-do's and underwhelmed with results. 

Keep a file on hand where you can make notes about opportunities, tools or resources that you want to check out so that you don't lose track of them. Create a 5-year business plan, make an action plan at the start of each year that details the steps you will be taking - break it down into a do-able schedule, and stick to it. 

We've learned to embrace the constant challenge of learning new skills, trying new technology and bending with the flow of the current market and personal challenges.
